Solar Energy UK achieved an unprecedented set of policy wins in 2021, following a rebrand which positioned it as a modern trade association. 

Despite solar energy being vital to the UK’s renewable energy market, the Solar Trade Association’s membership had halved since 2015. It needed a reboot to be seen as a modern organisation with the credibility to lead the high-tech solar industry.

Capturing the attention of students and teachers, a redesign has transformed engagement with the Step into the NHS website. 

With serious workforce challenges, there is pressure to recruit more people from all backgrounds into the NHS. But to develop a pipeline, engagement needs to start early in schools. 

Step into the NHS, England’s go-to health careers website for teachers and pupils, had seen an increase in site visits at the start of the pandemic but was failing to hold user attention.

Brunel University London had seen a decline in student numbers of 13% over three years. A refreshed design framework was needed to drive recruitment, to reverse this decline by transforming students’ journey of application.

Thanks to the new design strategy, that established a clear and consistent proposition, Brunel generated a boost of £9.45million in fees just through Clearing places alone.
