Intel needed a powerful exhibit experience to communicate their leadership position in data and the 5G ecosystem at the Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC) – the world’s largest, annual mobile-technology B2B trade show.
The company required a bold, innovative experience that would mesmerise visitors, express the scale and promise of 5G connectivity, and showcase how Intel is delivering the standards and solutions that enable this game-changing technology to become a reality.
Despite a significantly smaller footprint and investment than key competitors at MWC and fighting for a share of voice amongst 2,700 other exhibitors, the stand experience surpassed all objectives.
The immersive, 900sqm stand anchored by The Wondercube – an enormous, show-stopping, digital centrepiece – was the number three most visited and recalled exhibit at the show. Out of 107,000 total visitors, 71,700 people came to the Intel stand, which with its dynamic design encouraged visitor attention, retention and return.
Being such a unique experience MWC included the stand in VIP tours of the show, driving high-level C-Suite delegates directly to Intel, and the year-on-year surge in these tours outperformed Intel’s target by almost 25%.
