Inch’s claimed 6.9% market share with its strikingly different design, becoming one of the top three leading brands in the UK cider market within four years from launch. 

Together with the Heineken UK team, Bloom Design created Inch’s visual identity showcasing the cider’s taste credentials, eco-messaging and sense of fun, and the distinctive design has attracted a new generation of drinkers. 

The cider category had been in decline but increased 25% in GBP terms between 2021 and 2025, from £1.92billion to £2.39billion. Inch’s has been the driver for much of that growth; the brand has had the highest value share growth of any cider in the UK since launching in 2021. Sales were up 47% in 2024 alone, when Inch’s achieved an 8% increase in people new to the category and a 43% rise in consumers adding the cider brand to their repertoire, helping contribute to the market’s return to growth.
