The Tympa Platform is the world’s first all-in-one ear and hearing health solution, and over 2,000 healthcare professionals are using the system internationally.
The idea came from a NHS surgeon who collaborated with Team Consulting to take the system from concept to multi-national company in three years, securing corporate investment through three phases of development. Built around a smartphone, a simple user interface via an app along with an ergonomic industrial design, enable specialists and non-specialists to conduct a full ear examination, hearing check and ear wax removal in one place.
With half a billion people worldwide suffering from hearing loss, the portable device which meets medical regulations, allows access to hearing health from high street pharmacies to the jungles of Cambodia. Over 400,000 patients have had a Tympa ear exam; 35,000 patients a month. The data that is captured can be shared, enabling users in remote locations to access diagnosis support from ENT specialists across the globe.
